Bishop Collins will confront his fear of heights after inaugurating the festival, now in its 10th year.
The brave pair are part of an adventurous fundraising team, aiming to gather £50,000 for two charities: Dorchester Abbey and Restore, a mental health charity based in Oxfordshire.
The festival features 64 events, including performances by global classical group The Tallis Scholars, Olivier award-winning Showstopper!, and folk singer Sam Kelly.
Other highlights include Michelin guide chefs conducting cookery demonstrations, a walk on custard science exhibit by Revd Willis, and a reflective art workshop.
The festival, promising something for everyone, also offers art exhibits, children’s workshops, a dog show, and a two-day food and gift fair.
