EA has revealed that FIFA 20 is coming to Switch, but not in the form fans will have been hoping for.
The company has just lifted the lid on this year’s edition of its insanely popular football sim, and while the PS4, Xbox One and PC are getting the full-fat version – complete with a FIFA Street-style Volta Football mode – the Switch is getting a “Legacy Edition”.
That means while FIFA 20 on Switch will benefit from updated rosters and kits, it will basically be the same game as FIFA 19 and will lack any new gameplay content, such as the aforementioned Volta mode. Last year’s versions of FIFA 19 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 were Legacy Editions.
Those of you will long memories will recall that EA pulled the same trick on the Wii a while back.
