Singer R. Kelly arrested on federal sex trafficking charges, reports say

Singer R. Kelly was arrested Thursday on federal sex crime charges, according to reports.
NBC New York reports the 52-year-old, whose full name is Robert Kelly, was arrested by NYPD detectives and Homeland Security Investigation agents in Chicago on sex trafficking charges. Kelly is expected to be brought to New York.
According to the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, the charges contained a 13-count indictment, which includes charges of child pornography and obstruction of justice.
Kelly was in court in Chicago in June, when he pleaded not guilty to 11 felonies related to sexual assault. The Cook County state’s attorney’s office charged him with five counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and two counts of criminal sexual assault.
