Trump is not a fan of Bitcoin. For the first time many ‘agree’ with him. – Mashable SE Asia

For the first time in the history of this planet, many are nodding their heads at U.S. President Donald Trump.

The controversial leader is known for making some real out of this world tweets and statements.

Not this time though. This time, he appears to be making sense.

I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air. Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity….

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 12, 2019

In a series of tweets, Trump also trailed his virtual guns at Facebook’s latest virtual currency, Libra.

Just like his Democratic opponents, Trump emphasized that the currency must be regulated.

…and International. We have only one real currency in the USA, and it is stronger than ever, both dependable and reliable. It is by far the most dominant currency anywhere in the World, and it will always stay that way. It is called the United States Dollar!

While Trump’s foes might be silently nodding their heads in agreement others, especially those who invest in cryptocurrencies are not pleased.

This is a major mistake on your part and shows a lack of vision!

The U.S. dollar’s value is also “based on thin air.” The gold standard is history. It’s called “fiat currency” for a reason.

Untraceable, physical cash is the best tool for facilitating drug trades and unlawful activities, not a public ledger that records the history of every transaction ever made.

Hey. I’m basically the only guy in the crypto industry who voted for you (or admits it). Can I convince you otherwise?

— Preston Byrne (@prestonjbyrne) July 12, 2019

You are wrong about this.

Bitcoin is free speech money.

There has been a divided opinion among experts, investors and even the public on if it is wise to invest in cryptocurrencies.

I’m not a fan of Bitcoin either, but not because it’s unregulated. That is actually one aspect that I like. But you hit the nail on the head with your observation that it has no real value. It’s a confidence game, and those who put their faith in it have been conned.

Who wrote this for you?!
It actually makes sense & everything is spelled correctly!

Make the cryptonerds pay for the wall with their fake Internet money

You tell em Don!

Frick those cryptonerds!!

Well, that’s how you lose the libertarians.

Do you agree with Trump?
