A groom had his £190,000 Lamborghini supercar seized by police on his wedding day – because he had no insurance on the super car.
The white Lamborghini Huracán – complete with ribbons marking the special day – was impounded by officers in Bingley, West Yorkshire.
The white sports car capable of 201mph was impounded by officers who collared the embarrassed groom in Bingley, West Yorkshire, because he didn’t have insurance.

A photo of the sports car, which costs on average £190,000 and is capable of reaching speeds of 202mph, was uploaded to Twitter by West Yorkshire Police’s Road Policing Unit.
It was accompanied by a hilarious caption, which read: ‘Happy wedding day, can I have the keys please the officer said to the groom!
West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit has revealed details of the incident which took place in Bingley on Saturday.
‘Seized for no insurance in Bingley. Driver reported. #Lamboseizey.’
It doesn’t matter what car a person is driving, whether its a Ford Fiesta or a Lamborghini Huracan, you have to have car insurance. Funny how the owner can afford a car like this and probably show off but can’t afford to insure it.
The Lamborghini Huracán was named the “Supercar of the Year” by the Top Gear magazine in 2014.
